increasing voter turnout is an important goal, MWV is also committed to
advancing policy that improves the lives of women and families in our state.
Montana Women Vote works year-round on advocacy and public policy issues.
In 2006:
We issued our Biennial
Governor's Report Card as a means of holding our governors accountable
to issues important to women and families
We were an active member of the Raise
Montana Coalition that was successful in raising Montana's minimum
wage.
We published a comprehensive 2007
Legislative Agenda which summarized what actions should be taken around
issues.
