We are facing an incredibly serious threat to access to healthcare for millions of Americans and over 142,000 Montanans.
Congress and the new administration are working to take away our health coverage, hike costs for everyone, and dismantle programs like Medicaid which cover our most vulnerable neighbors and community members. Their plan threatens coverage for everyone – working families, children, seniors, people with disabilities – everyone who today or in the future will rely on Medicare, Medicaid, or the Affordable Care Act.
Congress needs to work together to improve the Affordable Care Act so it works better for everyone, not tear the whole thing down and destabilize the entire health care system. And, now more than ever, they need to hear your story of accessing healthcare through the ACA and Medicaid Expansion in order to understand exactly what is at stake.
The threat is very real, lives are at stake, and we need to take action now.
Have you received coverage since the ACA or Medicaid expansion was passed, or has someone in your family had a positive experience with the law? What do you want Montana lawmakers to know about your experience accessing healthcare? Share your experiences with us using the link below.
