Montana Women Vote, Voter Engagement, 2014Montana Women Vote started as a voter registration and voter engagement project. Engagement of low-income women and their allies as a powerful voting block rests at the heart of all the work that we do.

By registering, educating, and mobilizing unlikely women voters into a formidable voting block that supports real progressive policy change, MWV helps empower women to make positive change in their communities and our state. Voter engagement is the heart of this work.

Over the past several election cycles MWV has registered over 12,000 unlikely voters and achieved a 77% turnout rate through continued voter engagement. MWV has distributed voter guides informing of candidates positions and ballot initiatives that impact low-income women to over 30,000 Montanans.
