Voter education

Montana Women Vote is a non-partisan voter mobilization effort. We educate and mobilize low-income women to participate in the democratic process. MWV educates the public and policy makers on the public policy issues that affect women's lives.

Montana Women Vote:

  • Produces and distributes a statewide voter guide with candidates' responses to issues important to women and their families;
  • Takes a position on ballot initiatives that are important to women and their families (In accordance with 501(c)3 regulations);
  • Produces materials to make the voting process more accessible like our Who's Who in Politics (pdf file) brochure that breaks down what elected officials do and what decisions they make that effect your life. Our Steps to Voting (pdf file) explains the voting process (from registration, to early voting, to going to the polls) step by step.
