Montana Women Vote, Montana, Medicaid Expansion

Signing up for Action Alerts keeps you in the loop of our advocacy efforts. MWV believes that civic action, leadership development, and policy change can together improve the lives of women and families in poverty, and action alerts link you up directly with information about what we’re working on, in addition to tangible things you can do to take action.

In 2014, over 152 volunteers from across Montana joined us in registering and engaging voters and gathering signatures for the Healthy montana Initiative. With 892 donated hours from 152 volunteers from across Montana, we were able to make 31,500 voter contacts and distribute 12,500 voter guides. We engage general public on up-to-the-minute volunteer opportunities, legislative updates, and ways to get involved through our action alerts; many of our 152 volunteers’ 892 donated hours were the direct result of a response to action alerts!

During the legislative session, the same group of volunteers from across the state joined us in Helena to take action on issues that affect low-income women and families, and you can too!

Are you interested in receiving action alerts from us so you can take action, also? Sign up below! Interested in volunteering? Sign up here!
